A Night Out with Champions

Spend a fall evening at Old Friends Farm on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm as we celebrate the launch of a brand-new partnership between Old Friends and MyRacehorse. This special night brings together racing fans, owners, and supporters for an experience filled with live music, racing legends, and unforgettable moments, all in support of Old Friends’ mission to provide a forever home for retired Thoroughbreds.

Guests will enjoy guided mini tours through the farm with the chance to meet champions such as Silver Charm, Lane Way, Big Brown, I’ll Have Another, Lava Man, and many more. Between visits, guests will savor a buffet dinner from the famous Proud Mary’s BBQ featuring pork, brisket, ribs, chicken, jambalaya, baked beans, potato salad, garlic bread, and bread pudding. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages are included throughout the evening, and live music will create the perfect backdrop to relax and take in the atmosphere.

The night will also feature exclusive auction items showcasing memorabilia from MyRacehorse stable members and racing icons, along with appearances by special guests from across the racing industry. With the energy of live music and the charm of Old Friends, this promises to be a fun and memorable evening that captures the heart of the sport.

This event marks the beginning of an ongoing initiative between Old Friends and MyRacehorse. Going forward, guests on Old Friends tours will have the opportunity to join the MyRacehorse community, and with every new sign-up and first purchase, MyRacehorse will make a donation back to Old Friends. Together, we’re creating a partnership that celebrates racing’s past while supporting its future.
