From the moment the gates open for morning training to the final race of the afternoon, the town transforms into the center of the Thoroughbred world. This year, MyRacehorse is bringing owners together for a brand-new experience designed to capture the very best of Saratoga in one unforgettable weekend.
Introducing the Saratoga Summer Bash — a four-day celebration of racing, ownership, and community that brings together some of the most iconic Saratoga experiences in one immersive event. Replacing our traditional weekend experiences, this large-scale gathering is designed so owners can fully soak in the magic of Saratoga alongside fellow MyRacehorse owners from around the country.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll go behind the scenes of the sport, spend time with fellow owners, and experience Saratoga from multiple perspectives — from the backstretch to the sales ring to the grandstand.
Weekend Highlights
Thursday – Kickoff & Saratoga Exploration
Owners will receive admission to the renowned National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, where you can explore the history of the sport and its greatest champions. Your ticket can be used at your leisure anytime during the week, giving you flexibility to visit whenever it best fits your Saratoga schedule.
Friday – Picnic Table Race Day
Enjoy a classic Saratoga race day in the iconic picnic area at Saratoga Race Course. MyRacehorse owners will have access to a private tented section of the picnic table lawn, creating a dedicated gathering space for the group. The afternoon will feature handicapping seminars and friendly betting competitions, along with a food and beverage voucher included for each guest so you can enjoy the afternoon in true Saratoga style.
Saturday Morning – Morning Training & MyRacehorse Paddock Parade
Start the day experiencing Saratoga the way horsemen do — during morning training at the track. Owners will enjoy a buffet-style breakfast at The Porch, located right along the rail, offering a front-row view of the horses training on the track.
Following breakfast, we will host a special MyRacehorse Paddock Parade featuring MRH horses stabled at Saratoga. Owners will have the rare opportunity to watch horses school in the paddock before heading out onto the track, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at the preparation that goes into race day.
During this experience, members of the MyRacehorse racing team will be onsite to answer questions and provide updates, giving owners the opportunity to hear firsthand how their stable members are doing while seeing them up close during morning training.
Saturday Afternoon – Easy Goer Premium Race Day
Spend the afternoon enjoying a premium hospitality experience in the Easy Goer. This package includes a premium buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, and a reserved covered grandstand seat, providing one of the most comfortable and optimal viewing experiences at the track.
Industry Experiences Throughout the Weekend
To ensure a more personal experience, owners will be split into smaller groups for visits to a Mountain View stallion farm (home of Fire at Will and Leinster) and to Old Friends at Cabin Creek, where you’ll meet some of racing’s most beloved retirees.
Sunday Morning – Sales Ring Experience
Close out the weekend with an insider’s look at the bloodstock world during the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearling Sale. Owners will gather in the sales pavilion to hear about how horses are selected for the MyRacehorse program, learning firsthand what our team looks for when evaluating potential runners. Afterward, the group will break into smaller groups to walk the sales grounds and view the horses scheduled to go through the auction ring that evening, offering a fascinating look at the early stages of a racehorse’s journey.
The auction itself begins Sunday evening and is open to the public, so guests who wish to return and watch the action in the sales ring are welcome to attend.
